That was a great weekend of racing. A lot going on this week with exams, so do the best you can with your training.

Tuesday 5pm - Hardwood
Thursday 5pm - Hardwood
Saturday
9:30 – skating technique session – focus on offset
12:00 – Help you get your skis ready for the loppet - glide
wax & prep kick zone ( you will need glide wax, iron, scrapers and brushes,
you will be able to borrow from team mates if you don’t have one)
Sunday - Muskoka
Loppet
Races begin at 10:30am
I will be heading up on Sunday morning from hardwood at 7:30am
for those who would like a ride
There will be no team training on Sunday

Strength workout
Warm-up with dynamic stretches
Burpees 10 reps
Explosive push-up on to step, wide to narrow hands – 10 total
Plank on bosu and bench, alt fast leg flexion - 12 per leg
Pull-up with weight – 6 reps
Horizontal pull-ups – 10
Side plank with shoulder raise, leg raise – 10 per side
Walking lunges 6 reps per leg with weights in hands
box drop & 3 hurdles and long jump
airplane on bosu with trunk rotation, touch toes
